Is it Any Good?
AOS TV is a relatively new kid on the block from the makers of Red Box. Specifically targeted at Live TV it hosts over 1,000 TV Channels from all around the world. With a good selection of sports.
It’s a nice-looking application with non-intrusive adverts, but it’s only a few months old and remains to be seen whether it will continue. We are always a bit skeptical of providers releasing multiple apps which serve the same purpose (Red Box also concentrates on Live TV) as often there is a conflict of interest when one app does better than the rest, and generally, they are simply re-themed clones which are being milked for ad revenue.
What Does it Do?
AOS TV will have custom-made scrapers designed by the developers which will trawl the internet looking for working links connected to live streams of TV channels across the internet.
These links are then served up on the website and matched up with web art as well as a string of links that can be used if the first does not work.
Unlike other Android TV applications, AOS TV concentrates solely on Live TV channels. They do not serve movies, TV Shows, and other non-live media.
What Platforms Does it Work On?
AOS TV works on any device using an Android system or an emulator.
- Simple and easy to use UI
- 1000+ TV Channels
- Countries supported include channels from Portugal, UK, Canada, Italy, France, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, USA, Saudi Arabia, and France amongst others
- Easy navigation by category
- Search by trending topics like the latest sporting events
YOUR INTERNET ACTIVITY IS BEING WATCHED
ReviewVPN cannot attest to the legality, security and privacy of the applications discussed on this site. It is highly recommended that you use a VPN service while streaming or using Kodi.
Currently, your IP 220.127.116.11 is visible to everyone and your Browser is being tracked by Advertisers & ISP Provider.
Here are the main reasons why you must use a VPN:
- Your activities are hidden from your ISP, the government, and from the apps you are using.
- You can access additional movies and TV streams.
- ISP attempts to throttle are thrwarted thus reducing buffering issues.
- Geographically restricted content like Netflix and Hulu can be unblocked.
A VPN works be replacing your ISP-assigned IP address and creating an encrypted tunnel. We recommend the no log service offered by IPVanish. It works well on a Firestick and offers the fastest possible speeds.
Pros and Cons
- Looks clean, easy to use, and pretty straightforward
- A wide selection of TV Channels
- Ads are unobtrusive
- Good for watching sports
- New and has momentum with users
- Pretty new and doesn’t really offer anything different to other apps
- Offered by a provider who offers several similar apps which means there is a lack of support if one app goes well
- Nothing to get excited about
- There are other similar applications giving better functionality and user experience rather than serving up a generic experience
Is it Safe to Use?
AOS TV is pretty new but has got some solid positive reviews, also unlike applications that may allow you to download content, there is less risk for Live TV as you are just watching links.
The only danger would come if you tried to download the application from an unknown source.
Is it Legal or Grey?
It’s a grey area but AOS TV is serving up live TV premium channels so be prepared to do lots of link clicking as TV networks shut down 1 link only for it to appear elsewhere.
A lot of IPTV application is made or broken by the quality of their scrapers and the ability to find new links when the old ones break which is much more frequent than regular or older content.
Should I use this app with a VPN?
You should always use a VPN, regardless of whether you are using AOS TV or not. A VPN gives you privacy and anonymity to browse online without fear of being detected, tracked or monitored.
A VPN encrypts all of your traffic and obscures your IP address meaning that you don’t have to worry about anyone tracking you back to your home address.
VPN’s are also versatile and can be used on multiple devices to extend that privacy and anonymity across all devices and connections to the internet, particularly on a public Wi-Fi spot.

What is the Minimum Version of Android I Need?
How Long Has it Been Around?
From the looks of AOS TV’s Facebook page only since April 2019.
Is it a Terrarium Clone?
What is the Development Team Like?
Looks like the app is created by the same team behind Red Box and a number of other IPTV apps.
There are quite a few better solutions out there:
Red Box: From the creators of AOS TV, we think this is a better version with more functionality. Including a Kids section, a favorites tab, better compatibility and also a section for movies and TV Shows. Be warned that Red Box is heavy on ads.
Mobdro: Probably the King of IPTV, it’s been around a long time, is stable and even has a cheap Premium function. Get high-quality streams, HD, a live events TV calendar and probably the widest range of Live TV Channels around
Live TV Net: If you want a 100% ad-free addon then go for Live TV Net. Slightly less in terms of channel selection, but still 800+. You also get premium sports, video on demand, channel request, live event scheduler, and HD links.
AOS TV is nothing special and looks like a more basic clone of Red Box and probably uses the same scrapers and links. Maybe good as a backup but there are much better IPTV apps out there in the form of Red Box, Mobdro, and Live TV Net
